SQRC Explanation

What is SQRC?

  1. SQRC is a secured QR code which uses facial recognition to generate a QR code which will be used to gain entrance access to events/ hospitality
  2. As SQRC uses facial recognition the code is not transferable and personal to the user only
  3. The SQRC doesn’t look any different to a normal QR code which are widely recognisable across the world

Sign up to Match Fit Pass

Where can I sign up to Match Fit Pass?

  1. The first step is to register a Matchfit account at https://www.matchfitpass.com/signup as you will need to sign up/register before downloading the app
  2. Once you have registered you can use your login in details (username and password) to access the app and go through the verification to generate a SQRC
  3. You can sign up from a phone, tablet or computer but it will need to be through the above website address
  4. To register online you will need to have the following to hand: mobile phone number, email address, Date of Birth, debit/ credit card details

What is Match Fit Pass and why do I need it?

  1. Match Fit is a verification software application to verify the identity of an individual against their government issued document (Passport, Driving Licence).
  2. The application uses the photograph image taken for verification and runs it through our AWS server.
  3. The image is then used to generate the a QR code called SQRC and this image is returned to the individuals via secure Match Fit pass. The Match Fit pass can be used to gain access to the following industries: construction, oil gas power and utilities’, hospitality / Events sectors across the world

How does the mobile app work?

  1. The app is downloaded from the App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android
  2. You will need to register yourself onto the app setting up a username / password and will be required to upload an upto date headshot (selfie) for your identity verification
  3. You will also be required to upload one of the following ID documents – EU or Non- EU Passport, Visa, Driving licence or valid government identity card and read the data sharing policy to accept
  4. Once all the above is uploaded/ accepted then these documents are sent for verification which will take approximately one day to have your ID verified
  5. Once your ID has been verified you will receive your own personal SQRC code and Match Fit number. These are personal to yourself and cannot be transferred to another person
  6. Once you have your Match Fit and SQRC you can access event tickets with participating events.
  7. Your tickets will be accessible via your app at anytime which you can use to gain access to the event
  8. Your SQRC code will replace your standard paper ticket and will be scanned at the event via your phone

How do I signup for Match Fit Pass?

  1. To access your Match Fit Pass please go to our website at – www.matchfitpass.com/signup so you can register for a Match Fit Pass account. This will need to be done prior to opening or downloading the app
  2. Please enter your mobile phone number in the box provided
  3. After you have entered your mobile number an authentication pin number will be sent to your device, please insert this pin code in the box provided (sample shown below)
  4. Next you will need to input your email address ready for verification
  5. After you have entered your email address an authentication pin number will be sent to your device, please insert this pin code in the box provided
  6. Following successful verification of your mobile number and email address you will be directed to the next page so you can input your name, date of birth and current address
  7. If you are using the application and are under the age of 18 you will be prompted to input your guardian’s information on the following page and your guardian will need to provide consent in order for you to proceed
  8. Whilst on this page you will be asked to choose a unique password that can only be used by YOU the customer to access the mobile app. There are various boxes that turn green to ensure you comply with the requirements for your security
  9. To proceed to the payment page simply agree to the terms and conditions by ticking the box below. Also, choose the second box to receive all our exciting news and updates in the future
  10. Finally, you will proceed to the payment page, at this stage please enter any promotional vouchers you may have to receive your discounted cost
  11. Congratulations! You have now completed your registration and payment. Your subscription will be live for the next 12 months
  12. You can now start the process of verifying your identity by downloading the Match Fit App which can be downloaded through the App store or Google Play Store for android. Alternately you can send yourself a download link to your mobile number which will take you to the correct location for your app

How do I complete the verification process?

  1. Firstly, input your mobile number and password which you generated from our website at www.matchfitpass.com/signup – this will allow you to gain access to the app and start your verification process
  2. The first step in the verification process is to set up a profile photo, this will be used later to create your unique secure QR code with in-built facial recognition
  3. Take a clear photo of yourself using your phones in-built camera
  4. Whilst taking your profile photo please ensure you have good lighting and your face is central to the screen. After you are satisfied with your new profile photo choose the upload button to proceed
  5. Now you are ready to add in your government issue ID documentation for approval.
  6. There’re four options to choose from to upload your government approved documentation, you must have one of these documents to proceed
  7. Take a photo of your chosen identification with your phones in-built camera
  8. Whilst taking your photo please ensure you have good lighting and your ID is central to the screen. After you are satisfied with your photo please choose the upload button to proceed
  9. After uploading your chosen identification, you can proceed to the next step. On the home page there is a data sharing policy which will need to be read and agreed to
  10. Please read the following data sharing policy before proceeding with your verification process, once you’re happy please choose the accept button
  11. After following the three steps of our verification process you can now send off your information to be verified
  12. You have successfully uploaded your identification documents that will be sent off and checked with the home office and government for approval. This can take up to 24 hours for so please do this prior to your event taking place
  13. Once your application is approved you can now access your app and view your unique match fit pass number and secure QR code in the homescreen
  14. When you purchase a ticket with one of our partner ticketing providers the ticket will be automatically uploaded to your apps homepage
  15. You can share your unique match fit pass number with events and hosts at any time
  16. You can also access your unique secure QR code which will be presented to the QR reader at the venue turnstile or handheld unit on the day of your event
  17. All of your event tickets are stored in one easy to see location on the app so you can easily view upcoming events and previous event you have attended
  18. You can access each ticket individually to view the specific information about your event with date, time, venue location and specific entry points
  19. This ticket and information can be shared with other people or the event host at any time
  20. If your event or ticket provider update any information regarding your ticket this would filter into your app that you can view at any time prior to the event and would be highlighted in green
  21. Open your updates within the app and see how this may effect your event, journey, parking requirements or re-scheduled ticket dates
  22. In your app you can control settings in the settings page to allow notifications direct to your mobile, this will ensure you can view any updates as they are announced from your event

App Downloading/Uploading Issues

I can't download the mobile app

  1. The app is downloaded onto your phone via the App Store/Google Play so please make sure you have signal or within a WiFi area.
  2. Have you checked your settings that it’s not blocking the App download?
  3. Do you have enough storage on your phone?

What amount of storage is required on my device?

  1. The android app is 77mb and apple is 10mb.

The mobile app has frozen.

  1. Check that your device has a 3G, 4G or 5G data signal.
  2. Have you tried to refresh the app by shutting it down and restarting it
  3. Have you tried to reset your phone? This can usually be done by turning it off and re starting it.
  4. If you have tried all the above please delete the app and re install it, your login details will remain the same.

I can't enter my details into the mobile app.

I don’t have a driving licence, EU Passport, Non-EU passport or Identity card for ID

  1. Unfortunately, only government-issued identification is accepted.
  2. There is a list of acceptable verification documents on the website under the help tab.

SQRC and Ticketing Issues

I haven’t received my SQRC code yet and the game/ event is starting in 5 minutes.

  1. Unfortunately, the verification process could take up to 24 hours.

My ticket isn’t showing up on my mobile app.

  1. All tickets purchased with participating events will show up on the App within an hour of purchase.
  2. Have you checked with the organiser that the ticket was purchased?
  3. Do you have confirmation email from the organiser?
  4. Have you refreshed the app?
  5. Have you restarted your mobile device.

I have the confirmation email to say I have purchased the ticket, but it is not showing up in my app

  1. All tickets purchased will show up on the app within an hour of purchase, please ensure you have connectivity we recommend WiFi.
  2. Have you refreshed the app
  3. Log out of the app and log back in
  4. Have you checked with the event provider that the ticket hasn’t been cancelled?

When registering it does not recognise my address (it’s a new build)

  1. All properties registered with land registry will come up within the app
  2. You will be able to manually input your address details
  3. If your address is not coming up please contact Royal Mail to provide your property details so it can go on the national database

My QR code isn’t registering on the handheld device

  1. The QR code will register with all Denso handheld receivers
  2. Make sure facemasks are removed for facial recognition
  3. If your face isn’t registering ask for staff assistance at the event to help with gaining access – only access will be gained by SQRC facial recognition
  4. A paper ticket will be able to be supplied from your organiser

I have forgot my phone so I can’t access my Secure QR Code

  1. The event’s organiser will reject any access unless entry is gained via the MFP.
  2. It is not recommended but you can log into your MFP on a friend’s phone although make sure this is sanitized when passing objects between persons.
  3. You can use your Match Fit number to gain entrance by giving this to the ticketing /membership office at your event however you will need to provide ID or personal information.
  4. They can print you a hard copy off

My battery has died with my ticket on the mobile app

  1. It is not recommended but you can log into your MFP on a friend’s phone although make sure this is sanitized when passing objects between persons.
  2. You can use your Match Fit number to gain entrance by giving this to the ticketing /membership office at your event however you will need to provide ID or personal information
  3. They can print you a hard copy off

My signal isn’t strong enough to open the app

Additional People with Match Fit Pass

Can you bring a friend in using your phone?

  1. Your SQRC is personal to you therefore no one else can use this
  2. Whilst it is not recommended you can use your log in details to enter an event via their phone

How do you register children onto the mobile app

  1. Children under 13 do not need a MFP as they can only enter the event with a parent or Gaudian
  2. Any tickets purchased for children will show up on the parent/ guardian’s MFP and they can use this for them to gain entrance.
  3. Children under the age of 18 will need parental or guardians’ consent for them to have an MFP. The Match Fit application will flag up when going through the verification page that consent needs to be agreed
  4. A guide to sign up to Match Fit is included in section 5 and parental/ guardian consent is showing in 5 (G)

My child doesn’t have ID at the age you have suggested

  1. Children under 13 do not need ID
  2. Children above 13 will need valid ID and can have their own SQRC code but will need parental or guardians’ consent in order to do so.

How many children can I upload onto the mobile app

  1. You can only purchase 2 children’s tickets per adult match fit pass.

Can I take a friends child into the event with me using the mobile app?

  1. You can take a friends/ family’s child providing you have parental control and you have purchased a valid ticket for the event.

Can I use someone else’s SQRC code to enter the event

  1. No, you cannot, the QR code is personal to you only

I don’t have a smart phone so how else can I enter a stadium using SQRC

  1. You can use your Match Fit number to gain entrance by giving this to the ticketing /membership office at your event.
  2. Only the person with a MFP
  3. They can print you a hard copy off

Can I get verified with my NI number but it won’t have facial recognition?

  1. Unfortunately, you cannot use your NI Number as you will need photographic ID

Event Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

What happens if the event is cancelled or rescheduled

  1. The organiser will issue any refunds for cancelled events as per their own standard terms and conditions. Please check their policy
  2. Any rescheduled events will show up on the app

How do I get a refund on my ticket if I cant make the match or event

  1. The organiser will issue any refunds as per their own terms and conditions.

Renewal

My Match Fit Pass is valid at the time I purchased my ticket but runs out before the event. Can I still use my SQRC on the device or do I need to renew my MFP subscription to access my ticket?

  1. Your Ticket will remain valid for your event but if you’re subscription runs out you will not be able to purchase any additional tickets.

Smart Phone Issues

I do not have a smart phone and use a physical card but left it at home, how can I access the stadium or event without it

  1. You can use your Match Fit number to gain entrance by giving this to the ticketing /membership office at your event however you will need to provide ID or personal information.
  2. They can print you a hard copy off
